Code Adventures introduces Computer Science into your K-6 school program !
We are providing a full package aimed to teach the adults of tomorrow how to code in a fun and efficient way.
Coding, design, teamwork, problem solving, robotics, game design, persistence, human-machine interaction, hardware assembling, creativity and communication are skills that the young participants at Code Adventures will learn.
Computer Science can be a real life changing factor, it can be learnt by anyone and can benefit everybody.
WHY K-6 COMPUTER SCIENCE?
It’s proven that introducing Computer Science classes and concepts at early stages of education improves students problem solving and creativity skills in the long term.
It can open the doors to many different careers and scenarios for jobs that don’t exist yet.
Computer Science is the stepping stone of the innovation process that many developing countries are currently undergoing.
The lack of IT specialists nowadays is as high as 50% of the market request, it is our chance to anticipate the forthcoming 2030 job crisis, when there will be more jobs available than citizens able to carry them out.
Rainers Strack, HR expert from the Boston Consulting Group: the workforce crisis of 2030 and how to start solving it now. Watch it on TED
Learning different ways to approach a problem in early years improves brain functionality, creates better ways of problem solving and enhances creativity. This applies to any field.
No matters where we are in the World, our exposure to technology is greater day by day, being able to manage all of those new and old technologies in a proper way should be part of the education system by default.
Training, nurturing talent and passion since young age is a benefit not only for kids future but for the whole World as well.
Currently for every 20 men involved in Computer Science related jobs there is only 1 woman.
Do you know what a software engineer that helped Apollo 11 land on the Moon, a programmer that helped the Allies win Second World War and the World’s first computer programmer have in common ? They were all women !
Introducing girls to coding at early stages and providing better chances obviously creates a long term benefit for everybody.
Everyone can code and everyone can benefit from that! We believe that Computer Science can provide a unique opportunity to kids and communities in need by unleashing their potential, and creating opportunities that otherwise would not exist. What if the next Steve Jobs is a kid who have absolutely no access to Computer Science education ?
